Hospitalist Medicine Research
The Division of Hospital Medicine acknowledges the significance of clinical research and improvement projects in line with the Department of Medicine and SUNY Upstate University Hospital's mission and vision. Our hospitalists are encouraged to explore their research interests and often lead thought-provoking and innovative projects. They take advantage of enrichment beyond their clinical duties to enhance critical thinking skills and approach clinical questions and analysis objectively.
We believe in the importance of maintaining a proper balance between personal and professional goals, and we fully support our hospitalists in pursuing their interests. Research fosters confidence and facilitates higher-level learning. With ample research opportunities available across the campuses, there is a multitude of options to suit every interest in the academic environment.
