The Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Upstate Medical University is a leading program in the state of New York, designed to shape future leaders in hematology and oncology. The three-year fellowship program provides comprehensive and immersive experience in both hematology and oncology. The core curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from benign and malignant hematology to solid tumor oncology. Moreover, fellows gain first-hand experience in the management of patients and are exposed to a diverse, complex patient population, setting the foundation for a well-rounded, robust medical expertise.
The fellowship also offers a variety of research opportunities. Fellows can choose from two tracks: clinical and laboratory-based research, providing the opportunity to work alongside some of the world’s leading physicians and researchers in their respective fields.
